Statement of Faith

We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, perfectly holy, loving, just, and merciful. God rules over every nation and generation, and His purposes extend across all cultures and peoples. In His wisdom, He designed humanity with diversity and beauty, reflecting His glory throughout the earth.

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully human. He entered the world through the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and revealed the heart of the Father. Through His death on the cross, Jesus made atonement for sin, and through His bodily resurrection, He defeated death. Jesus reigns as Lord over every nation and calls people from every culture to follow Him.

We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God, present and active in the world today. He convicts of sin, reveals truth, and brings new life through faith in Christ. The Holy Spirit indwells believers, empowering them to live holy lives, grow in Christlikeness, and serve God’s purposes. He equips the Church with spiritual gifts to build up the body and advance the gospel among all peoples.

We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative, and trustworthy Word of God. Through Scripture, God reveals His character, His redemptive plan, and His desire to be known among all nations. The Bible is the final authority for faith and practice and provides the foundation for life, ministry, and mission.

We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. All people, regardless of background or culture, are in need of redemption because of sin. Through repentance and faith, individuals are forgiven, restored to relationship with God, and welcomed into His family. Salvation unites believers from every nation into one body in Christ.

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of believers from every tribe, language, and nation. The Church exists to worship God, make disciples, and reflect His love to the world. Local churches play a central role in God’s mission, serving as communities where believers are equipped, sent, and supported to participate in God’s work among the nations.

We believe Jesus has called His followers to make disciples of all nations. This mission is central to God’s heart and His design for the Church. We believe God delights in the cultures He has created and desires to redeem and restore people within their unique contexts. ATN exists to strengthen and equip churches and leaders so that the gospel is proclaimed, disciples are formed, and the Church is multiplied across the world.

We believe every person is created in the image of God and possesses inherent dignity and worth. God’s design for humanity includes diversity of culture, language, and expression, all reflecting His creativity and glory. We affirm the sanctity of human life and believe followers of Christ are called to love, protect, and serve others with compassion and humility.

We believe followers of Jesus are called to live lives marked by faith, obedience, love, and service. The Christian life is one of ongoing transformation through the work of the Holy Spirit. As believers grow in their relationship with Christ, they are called to reflect His character, pursue justice and mercy, and live as faithful witnesses within their own cultures and among the nations.

We believe God’s heart has always been for the nations, and His plan is unfolding through the Church. ATN exists to come alongside churches as a trusted partner by equipping leaders, strengthening missions vision, and helping the local church faithfully engage in God’s global mission so that every nation may know and worship Him.
